Aadhaar card is issued for the identity of every citizen of the country. This Aadhaar card is used in almost all kinds of government schemes and works.
Apart from this, it is also linked with PAN card, bank account. Along with this, important functions like online money transaction are also done through Aadhaar number. In such a situation, the Unique Identification Authority of India has advised to avoid the dangers of fraudsters, phishing or scams.
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has alerted all Aadhaar card users to immediately check their Aadhaar Authentication History to know whether all the authentication transactions that have been completed have been done or not. For this, the authority has started the Aadhaar Authentication History Service.
According to the authority, the transaction data of the last 6 months can be tracked through the Aadhaar Authentication History option, in which the authentication data of 50 times can be viewed.
This will show how many times Aadhaar based biometric, OTP or demographic authentication has been done. If you have not done these authentications or have doubts, you can call on the authority’s number 1947 or mail at [email protected].
The authority has said that the 12-digit number in the Aadhaar card contains all the information related to the identity of the person including the guardian’s name, age, address.
Aadhaar card is used as a photo identity card. This is a valid document as identity proof in all kinds of government schemes. Keeping in mind the importance of Aadhaar, anyone can misuse your Aadhaar, to avoid this, this facility has been started to track transactions.
How to check Aadhaar Authentication History
- First of all visit the Aadhaar website https://uidai.gov.in/.
- After this, in the Service option, under My Aadhaar, select the Aadhaar Authentication History option.
- Now enter Aadhaar number or Virtual ID for OTP.
- Fill OTP number and proceed further.
- Now select the authentication type like date range, number to display the records.
- Apart from this, authentication history can also be checked through mobile mAadhaarApp.
